New venue in Oxfordshire available
Discussion
Hi guys, Ok.....the new premesis are ready and now available for any meets in the Central area.
This venue will be available for any classic/car event with a limit of about 40 cars (unless prior arrangements can be made to accomodate more across the road).
Facilities are....
New hard standing for approx 40 cars.
Car wash and vacuum (jetwash) available.
Service station and licenced shop.
Restoration facilities can be viewed with prior arrangement.
Hotel 30 yards away with outside seating.
Picnic and BBQ facilities are under discussion at present as there is a good deal of grass area attached to the venue.
Good local roads for a cruise or blast.
Close to J10 M40 (very central).
I can be contacted via this site or by phone or email (details on profile) and I hope this venue will become a regular on the classic calendar.
This is an independant offer of a venue and open to all marques but is available at no cost to clubs who require a venue in the area.
cheers
Rob

That's why I have started this. For some strange reason, the most accessible place in the country has the worst classic/sports car event calendar. I know there are loads of classic enthusiasts in the area so I hope to be able to generate enough interest to make this a regular and enjoyable venue. The site itself is great and we are planning some decent facilities too. I would also like to link to a classic car dealer I used to work for up the road to see if he might open on the event days for viewing. That should give access to about 80 odd classics from the 1900's to 90's, and make it more worthwhile.

Excellent idea. That guy up the road didnt happen to have an e30 red convertible a few years ago did he. I did some work on that. Lovely motor, but then i am biased on Beemers especially the e30's. Currently i have an e36 328i coupe and a e34 525 sport in avus blue. You talking about the old guy in Deddington? Red 318 convertible on a H plate? If so...I dropped a brochure off with him as the Zinnober paint was starting to go pink on the wing and he virtually threw it back at me. Car looks tatty now, he doesnt really look after it too well, pity, nice motor. E30's are my speciality.
