Damn right, you tell that unbeliever!
It's all about Italian cars, like the Zonda, a German engined car made by an Argentine gent or A modern Bugatti which isn't German at all, never mind it's French ancestry (it's best part). And NO, Lambos don't use German engines, EVER!
Wait, I see a pattern emerging.

I have one too. Approximately 60 have been sold worldwide.
Hi Jan - long time no see
You of course are a proper owner, whereas I suppose I am more of an operator

Have they really sold that many? I woould have guessed at half that number, if that.
Our is on it's way home after some extensive revisions - can't wait to drive it!!

More reliable than an Aston in my experience. That said, my experience has taught me that TVR's are more reliable than Astons......

Interestingly, 2 of the most bizarre road tests I have ever seen were of
Koenigsegg's. 1 in Motor and 1 in EVO, if believed both cars under acceleration stuttered and slowed so one 10mph increment would be .7sec the next 1.6sec then back to .7sec, these being outside gear change times. Then you look at the in gear acc' fig's and 'hay presto' no faltering at all.
It amused me to work out the 0-150mph time using the in gear fig's.
Autocar.............normal acc' fig's 0-150=17.6secs
Autocar.fig's using the in gear fig's 0-150=14.0secs
Mark.

We have a new CCR for sale, and I was told by the factory that it was the 7th right hand drive CCR to be made, but even though it's not yet been registered it was built in 2006, so I guess some more were built and delivered after this one was finished. According to the papers/file on this car, it's the 34th car to be made. Not sure if this information is 100% accurate but it's what I have seen with this particular car.
Being a Porsche man myself, with the occasional Ferrari 'hang-up' I'm very impressed with the build quality of the CCR, and how easy it is to drive, it arrived at new year, so we have only been able to drive it for about 20 miles, but as soon as the salt goes away we will hopefully have a few more runs out in it, unless someone buys it ! see www.gmundcars.com Andrew.

Northo,
Yes, well and truly a Land Rover man at the moment, but you can never take the supercar out of the man.
Give me a couple more weeks and you'll see what I mean.
In my experience, although the build quality on the early cars left a little to be desired, their reliabilty cannot be questioned.
For such a high performing car, they have always started, don't mis-behave, and deliver the performance they promise.
The Gumball car was a pre-production car, which was put into the event to grab some headlines, which it did when it was clocked going 242 mph.
The only problems I have encountered have been caused by parts failing as they were not up to the stresses placed on them.
But, if you have a problem, the service you get from Koenigsegg, with the parts and a technician flown out to you, is second to none.
Only Spyker offers such attention to detail, and now it is backed up by Broughtons, finally theses cars should have the investment in this country they deserve.
Cheers,
Ruttboy.

Is this the same car Bentley Broughtons were offering for 250k?
