Condensation on the bonnet of my 390SE this morning shows what appears to be the stylised letters "TVR" dead centre under the windscreen, about 6" (150cm) down from the 'screen and about 3" (75cm) high.

Is this a coincidence, or are the letters somehow incorporated into the GRP? It doesn't look as though there was a sticker there in the past.

Just goes to show what a good insulator that material is. So given the need to dissipate heat from the engine bay whats it like if it was removed?

Bonnet insulation
Mine was missing when I bought it but remember somewhere on here saying its not a good thing to be missing
Something to do with possable damage to the paint job? I have noticed a "swirl" pattern about the size of an old penny but that might be sommit else?

I removed mine, the underbonnet temps are high enough as it is.....
I also needed the clearance for my big plenum.

Same mistical TVR logo on mine.
Like it, so stick with the insulation (engine is not running hot at the moment), that causes it to appear.
Easy for the neighbours: at least they can identify it is a TVR that woke them up in the morning..... (only if you want that).
Depends on the family and your neighbours probably.
My wife doesn't even want me to take the "shopping" road in our village to get home: the TVR rattles all shop windows. But I like that .

When you wake up in the morning and you have TVR across your forehead that is VOODOO !

Alternately you fell asleep with your face in Sprint and drooled the logo of the front page
