Pretty sure I got my collar felt at the weekend. Usual story, 50 to 30 limit at bottom of hill, van just out of sight until last minute. I was the only vehicle on the road at the time and the speedo needle was around the 35 mph mark....so what delights should I be looking forward to in terms of fine and points?

Currently have a clean license, and have had for the last 17 years so a bit annoyed. Also, this is a company car (leased) so what's the mechnasim for getting the NIP to me?

I have a lease car too -they send the NIP to the lease company, they will pass it back to the police naming your company or yourself direct if they have that info. You end up with it in the end...just takes longer to get to you

You might get offered a speed awareness course instead of points and a fine. Hopefully.

If the needle was at 35 going on the theory that most speedos over read, your actual speed can't have been much over 30, so I would imagine you will be ok.

Worst case - 3 points and the £60 new speed camera payment.
