Thanks to Spend for the tips on the shock bolt sizes. Nitrons now fitted.
During my day between lowering the front and re jigging the wooden blocks to get the jack and stands under the rear the handbrake was working one minute and the next not at all.
Handbrake cable is made up from two sleeved sections at the ends and the wire.
Above the diff offside is the adjuster.
Nearside there is a small almost C shape bracket.
Please confirm that this bracket is
a) slightly offset to the crossbeam it is welded to and not bent
b) I'm assuming the groove in the white plastic nose on the end of the nearside black sleeved section goes in it, please confirm.
c) Since it has fallen out, more importantly what is meant to hold it in?

Any tips on not grazing ones nose on the underside of the diff casing to reach to get it back in would be appreciated. (Not including buying a Dutch ramp)

Thanks
Richie

Remove the nearside rear wheel, you can reach up and get to the adjuster wheel. The wheel is a two part affair, the section that fits in the lug has a "nose" that sits through the lug and then a locknut does up against it.
