My nomination has to be Tiger Woods:

Has excelled at all levels off the game - hatrick of US Juniors and Amateurs, 64 US Tour Victories, 24 other pro victories, 13 majors. Likely to be the first billionaire sportsman. Has hit many clutch shots coming down the stretch. Has revolutionised the modern game, as well as taking it to a new level in terms of power, fitness and professionalism. Is also a fantastic ambassador for the sport.

I'd nominate Sir Donald Bradman and his test average of 99.94 in second place.

Watch the grid before the race, Toseland (who's also great) and pals are staring down to the 1st corner, focussing, while Rossi's having a laugh and chatting to the brolly dolly, etc. Fantastic!
