Thinking of changing the R6 to something else, however am not sure whether the regular dealers will consider p/x'ing it as its currently in track 'atire' (although it does still have all paperwork to be road legal if changed back).

Can't be arsed changing it all back myself & just want the easy option, as it would mean new bodywork, tyres, etc, etc.

Also, how much do you reckon I should be asking for a 2006 R6 (new model), approx. 4000 miles, braided lines, front/rear stands to suit, etc, etc ???

Stick an advert on this sites classified section....you never know your luck! A friend of mine sold his track bike on here as it had a V5. The guy came from Scotland to just outside of London to get it with the intention of converting back to a road bike to sell on.

You obviously wont get as much as you would if it were a road bike but as you say you want the easy option..........

I know selling privately can be hassle, but stick it on ebay or advertise in biketrader (6 weeks on the website £35) - price it realistically and you should get a quick sale and more cash than a dealer would offer.
