question about 20" wheels

Hi all first post guys can you help?Going to look at 335d with 20" wheels could anybody tell me of any issues ie road noise cost of tyres ,do they cause excess suspension wear etc.Any inpput would be most appreciated.

Well for a start they are`nt BMW factory fit wheels as IIRC 19 is the largest off the options list for a 3.

Can't speak for the 3 series but have Alpina sofline 20's on both my cars.

They are only weekend cars so I dont mind the harder ride or the tyre cost's due to the low mileage, if a daily drive then get something more sensible.

Think 20" would be to big mate in all honesty. 19" are just perfect!
335d is a cracking car mate!

Do you mean 'Autovogue' ( ) as in the Khan alloyed, bodykitted, Bradford specials??? If you do then walk away and stick to what BMW engineers spent millions on, factory spec 335d are fantastic cars but a cheap 'chav' special will do nothing for it.

well ill have a look at it, if it looks chavvy ill give it a miss .If it just looks like it means business ill test drive it.I definitely dont want to look like a mobile phone salesman from Harrow (my equiv.BMWs look so boring for me anyway accept Alpinas which ive driven for last 15 years.
