Oh Billy,
This one could run.
The ultima is such a unique shape, why don't you just try it in a single colour minis the pin stripes just to see how you get on 'til you decide what sort of thing you are going to do with it. Red is great, yellow is great, black ain't bad (it's baad) and orange is just ruuuuude! It's cool to refresh it once you have it on the road (check Russ's (highflyer))
Orange is my fave at the mo.
The Spaniard (sorry forget his name) has one of the most successful two tones that I've seen, but the great thing is you can do it all after.
Good luck
Lucky.

How many answers did you expect to get Billy?
Entirely personal choice but I would say you must avoid mundane colours.
This is a bold, in your face, car and its colour must be likewise.
I would go for one of the factory gel coat colours first rather than spray it. If you truly believe you will go on to spray it then select a gel colour that will not show up too badly as a stone chip in your sprayed colour.

Unfortunately when you chip your spray painted gel coat it is the primer underneath that you see, so the top colour needs to match the primer. Go for a nice grey!Steve
