The wife's car is going in as a part-ex

2002 225coupe in Avus Silver
47K miles
Full Audi Service History
Belts/water pump done 5K ago
Bose Stereo
Clean car no mods

Looking through the ads the prices vary hugely from £9.5K privately to £13K trade.

I am just looking to get an idea of what I could be looking at getting as part-ex

Would £11k be dreaming ??

Thanks in advance

I'm not a dealer, but the Vauxhall website gives access to Glass's guide prices. Go here: http://www.vauxhall.co.uk/ and look under Owners/Value My Car.

I got the following result from it...

Audi TT Coupe T quattro (225 bhp)
1.8 Petrol 3-door Coupe
6 Speed Manual Four Wheel Drive
Year: 2002 02
Mileage: 47,000

Part-exchange Price:
Excellent condition: £10950
Average condition: £9760
Below average condition: £8650

The only true way to find out how much your car is worth is to find other similar specced TTs and see how much they are selling for.

Take a look on Autotrader and PH Classifieds and see what it brings up.

Good luck. smile

Other point to remember, is that when looking at prices of similar cars in autotrader etc. is "are they selling at that price"

Unfortunately your car is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it

Good luck

I'd have a pop at that if you want to mail me through my profile? Trade bid you'd be looking at a bit over 10 depending on how nice it is.

I don't think you should struggle to sell at £11k as its a desirable colour, presumably the facelift model (being a 2002 in Avus Silver),just had major service etc

I wish i was in a position to buy one now as i would probably snap your hand off at that price!! But unfortunately i can't buy anything right now.

Anyway, good luck with the sale
