Hi All,

I hear you lot banging on about how good Goodyear F1's and Toyo Proxes T1's are. However they all seem to be for 15'' wheels.

I have 185/65/14 on a set of old Eunos alloys and I can't find the tyres you rave about via the usual outlets?

Can I be looking elsewhere / can't see the nose on my face, or can I be a bit snide with the sizing of the tyre. Also, any good tyres of this size out there?

185/60/14 is usual for the mx5. 175/65 I have seen on some winter tyres...

Ok well it appears the toyos were never available in the 14". The Goodyear F1 GSD2 was available ( I have 4) but they also appear to have vanished when goodyear started making the new version.

Falken Ziex ZE-512 are available in 14" and get some good reviews.

I had the same problem recently with my Eunos. Ended up going for Goodyear Hydragrip in 185/60/14. Wet & dry performance is good, IMO roughly comparable to the Toyo T1R and Eagle F1s I've run previously on cars that didn't have Noddy car wheels!

At less than 35 per tyre surely you're not /that/ tight! wink

Yokohama C-drives on my car at the moment, the best I could get when I needed a new set a few months back. I'm pretty surprised - similar dry performance to A539s, but much better in the wet and don't seem to wear quite as quickly.

I still preferred the Bridgestone Potenza RE-720s I had before though, but they're no longer in production frown
