changing to brembos
Discussion
Rite,
I own a C2 and am upgrading my breaks to brembo 4pots, what i am wondering is should i bleed the system and put 4 dot fluid in. I dont know much about this stuff, just my mate advised me to do so..
Also any advice on a set of spacers.looking at about 10mm fronts and 15-20mm rears.
Thanks.
Gareth

Aren't all C2's fitted with 4 pots as standard? TBH if you have to ask if you need to bleed the system and say your spacers need to be "about" 10mm I'd ask yourself if you are sufficiently competent to do the job.

gging you off or anything, but brakes aren't really the area to experiment with your DIY mechanic skills.

Ok. think you read wrong maye i did not ask wether i should bleed the system i asked wether i should put 4 dot fluid in, or what i was trying to ask wether to change to 5.1. advantages etc.
Also citroens with max bhp of 125 deffo dnt come with brembo 4pots and as for the spacers, i was asking this to see if anyone knew as a rule of thumb, if fitting bigger brakes you will deffo need spacers, or maybe someone with a C2 has done the same, as i currently dont have access to the car as it is in the bodyshop.
Thanks Anyway.
