Hi,

I've noticed a chip in my windscreen, is it farily easy to get hold of a replacement for the S? Any idea if Hagerty include windscreen cover?

Hi Chris,

It is easy to get the replacement I got one within a week. They even gave me a choice of clear or with a tint! I will be amazed if your insurance doesnt cover windscreen repair/replacement and it should say in the policy details. It is usually a small charge though around £60/70 for replacement. You need to speak to Hagerty to find out which windscreen place you need to go to as they will only use one.

Excellent. It's only a small chip and it could probably just be filled or even ignored, but thought I'd enquire as I had fears of finding out it came from some obscure part of the British Leyland parts bin or something!

IIRC its a cut down Cortina screen, but as I have never had any issue getting a replacement in 48-72 hours it must surely be used by other vehicles alongside our TVR's.

Is it the same as the Griff ?

Autoglass listed as TVR Griffith `S` tourer windscreen laminated green. Autoglass No. 1100WCL

if there are others, it would be good to add them to the list.

Thats the kiddie - I'll double check the docs for the part number tonight as I've had about six new screens over the years
