Would have been good to put in a 05 monaro fuel lid up the top to put the gas fillup point there.
Be interesting to find out how much LPG affects the performance.

I guess this doesn't work quite so well if:

A) You have a blower:

B) Your boot is already full of fuel tank:

..petrol it is!

If you can afford a supercharger you obviously won't worry about fuel consumption!
I run a business which specialises in helping businesses to use less energy. I do get a few raised eyebrows when I turn up in the Monaro.

Not at all, the SC only saps power when it's on boost and my car has the same crap fuel consumption it always had before the conversion...any I quote:

"Q. How will this affect my fuel economy?
A. Fuel economy is not compromised when utilizing the Magna Charger supercharger system equipped with our standard bypass system. EPA (environmental protection agency) figures support this claim. A typical domestic vehicle equipped with an Magna Charger supercharger shows no fuel economy penalty for highway driving, and only a one-mile per gallon penalty for city driving. People who tow a trailer generally see better fuel economy because the vehicle will stay in a higher gear longer and the engine will run more efficiently. A Magna Charger supercharger system gives you big block horsepower and torque with a small block engine so you can net significantly better fuel economy if you purchase a supercharged small block instead of a big block."

..however, I paid £74 for a tank of 95 unleaded this afternoon which is terrible for 250 miles. I'll use the bike for the rest of the year and then buy a cheap diesel runabout for winter.

I haven't been brave enough to wheel the bike out of the shed for a few weeks, too bloody cold, it's Italian aswell so the first sign of salt it will probably decompose in front of my eyes!

Japanese isn't any better, I started riding mine in Feb and it now looks like it's been at the bottom of the sea for the past 50 years. Ducatis are rubbish I'll grant you but my last Aprilia was superbly screwed together.

they can put the rail where you want it

i didn't want to loose the spare so had a big tank

donut tanks can be used and i think octane rating is 105 but dont quote me

big power apps will need to have two tanks or switch to petrol when on real boost

if i do go blown it is turbos for me

They're saying it's £1400 or so to convert - is that what it cost Splatty?

That gives me some confidence, I bought a new Tuono in the summer which does seem to be better built than my old Multistrada (Ducati changed the crankcases under warranty due to corrosion, it was only 18 months old!).

£1400 doesnt seem that bad, i could prob recover that in 3/4 months with a tank of LPG costing less than half of petrol.
