Quite often now whenever a door is shut or I go over a bump at slow speed the body lets of a long depressed creaking noise...
I have no idea why or where its coming from, but is this normal? cos it doing my head in! smash

No Not normal, try rocking the car up and down over each wheel untill you hear the noise so you can narrow down where it is comming from. If it does it when the door is shut what happens when you get into the car.

Check the door solenoids are being pushed in by the little rubber pad on the door. Mine made this noise and was fixed by replacing the rubber pad.

Not to put doom and gloom in your head but i had this on my 99 chimp when i owned it and it was part of the chassis that had broken near the back somewhere.. the garage welded it up and cured the squeeking etc...

Put it up on a four post ramp and rock the car and see and listen to locate the noise

Let us know how you get on

I had creaking when my ARB links were shot. But only over bumps, cant see how you would get creaking when closing the door.

Mine sounded like the chassis creaking but was actually the solenoid chattering.
