Plenty of room for spare tyres, ezi-up, fuel and food on the way to the circuit.

Somewhere to hide when the circuit is closed due to rain !!!

Actually held up at one point by a 205 gti ( no im not kidding, the 205 also span in front of me!!!!)

Has anyone seen anything dafter on track..

Must have towed something there that broke down so didn't want to waste the session he'd payed for? Seen someone do the same with their Golf TDi when their kit car failed to start. But even so - what's the point?

boxedin actually it was me hehe it was a laugh... you should try it..., Only did a few laps before switching to a mates 200sx...

certainly makes you think about lines and weight transfer.... the goose neck needed dedication yikes

3 laps was about the limit of the brakes though....

LOL! I remember seeing you on track (you can see me in the fury about 5 cars back) and thinking "what an innapropriate car -legend." The gauntlet has now been thrown, whoever can manuver(sp?) a combine harvester round hall bends gets a tenner!

Funnily enough, quite a few of the TVR racers also drive landrovers/freelanders/rangerovers of various descriptions and we've been talking about doing a landrover Trackday..

should be a laugh if we ever get round to it.. plenty of v8's and chipped td5 oil burners ( my td5 nudges 200bhp, although I may have to take the roof tent off the top).

I reckon the maddest but actually very good trackday tool would be a mk1 freelander!!! and i dont jest the handling on those things is spot on. A mate of mine was doing handling kits for mx5 and freelanders at the same time, and reckoned round his test circuit the LR was quicker yikes well it would be ok untill the k-series spilled its guts hehe

Was at Combe about 18 months ago, and a guy rocked up with a mk2 landy with a 400hp BMW V8 in it (prev model M5) with a locked diff. It went sideways everywhere (very rapidly). Kind of like a bowler rip off, but significantly cheaper!

I was at Donington yesterday and there was a 6.3ltr 600bhp AMG Merc 4x4 (not sure model) blatting round. Certainly was holding it's own against the GT3RS I was in on the straights and showed good speed through the corners, mainly by using the curbs and half the grass on every apex!

I took my 1.1 Fiesta around the 'Ring. Just the one lap. Brakes were completely gone by Flugplatz, i lost gears by Adenau (had to stay in 4th) and I had cars coming by me with a 100mph differential. It was crazy. Never again. I was SOOOOO relieved to see the gantry...
