Identifying an engine
Discussion
Hopefully someone can help
I've got an unknown Honda engine that came with an off road buggy I've purchased.
Can anyone help point me in the right direction to identify what it is and what it came out of? It's got 249cc on the block and a serial number starting MC10E-2000. I'm struggling to find anything on the net Also it's electric start. Before I see whether I can get it running ideally I'd like to know how powerful it is.
Thanks

So next question. Is it worth putting into an off road buggy? Any recommendations for something reasonably light but more powerful? Ideally 50ish HP with plenty of low down grunt.
The Honda engine came with a load of parts that I bought for the buggy so was essentially free but don't want to start building around it without checking the options. Unfortunately I know very little about bike engines
