Got my S back from it's annual service and it's stalling all the time. Air con on or off it doesn't matter. On cold start I have to keep the revs up to prevent it from dying. I was told it had a misfire and that the plugs were changed but it's actually running worse now !

Any ideas?

I had the same problem after my car was serviced ....

It turned out to be a broken HT lead.

Hope This Helps.

Andy

P.s asked them why the car wasn't taken for a test drive after the work was carried. As this is one of the jobs they list on the service sheet.

In their defence a road test was definately carried out and the car drove fine when I left. It only started doing it after it had been parked up in my garage over night.

I will be taking it back next week hopefully.

Just been to see the chaps and problem sorted in 20 mins. The idle speed was too high when they serviced it so it was lowered. However, it was too low on cold idle so it has been raised a tiny bit and it's now running very well :-)

Top service from Paul and Heath yet again.

I'll give 'em some stick on Monday, mines in a for a 12k service biggrin
But I did get a toasted hot cross bun last week, I may get my first cup of coffee... they always ask, then never get round to brewing up.

Yeah I also get offered the coffee but never have time for one, just as well I think !

As for the hot cross bun - words will have to be said about that. Seems theirs favouritism going on !

Took mine for a blast last night and it's running really well now. All squeaks and rattles are gone and the engines sounds great. Just need to sort out those damn CCC exhaust - they sound rubbish.

Just a little update to the saga with my car running rough. It's just back from X-Works and has had a new ECU chip installed. Apparently the latest chips that were being put in the Sagaris. Well all I can say is wow ! What a different. It's a lot smoother, tickover is really sweet and it pulls a lot better through the gears.
