Thank christ April is nearly here & it's weeks not months until we all finally get a proper chance to start running again - jesus it's seems like ages since flame & thunder ! :-(

Really looking forward to running for the first time this year on the 4th April at the Pod on a test day they have organised for anyone running in the (Jap car) HKS Series - £50 for the day is worth every penny.

Also really looking forward to having a go in Super Pro Et this year for the first time & have no doubt at all I will get my arse well & truly kicked & have mountains to learn but have got to start somewhere. Forgetting my own racing i just can~t wait to see the Pro Mod, top fuellers in action to be honest!.

Apologies if i ask anyone numpty questions during the year but going to be a real learning curve this year !

Fingers crossed for a fantastic summer weatherwise & some great safe racing.

Certainly not putting any high expectations in anything tbh, car was only completed in current guise back end of last year (aug) & still so much seat time needed & setting up to do.
But at least with running in the HKS & SP Et this year the seat & testing time will hopefully reap rewards in terms of car set up and understanding if nothing else.
Also my start line stuff is my no means great & again the more seat time the better so really looking forward to the year.

Thanks all, really looking forward to super pro & i'm sure it will be great fun & a lot of good people to meet (just hope i don't get to much abuse for the "rice burner" - lol & jesus just seem the video somebody put up of the Easter thunderball - bloody hell that looked cold !

My other half told me at the start of the year "you are not allowed to go to that one as one of the kids birthdays" - thank christ for that -lol

Good luck Jonathan whenever you decide to compete in the HKS series, really friendly bunch & it has moved on a hell of a lot over the last 2 years for sure.
Still a long way to go when you look at Aus & the US in terms of times ie/ low to mid 7's but it's getting there now when you think Steve Whittaker ran 8.0 last year & it will move on again this year no doubt at all which is fantastic to see.
