Attention all BoLOCs - Essex LOC in town w/e 12th April
Discussion
Definitely.
What about cafe shore to start with sunday morning then on from there? Huge car park opposite to get all the cars in, providing lots of people attend
I think they're taking in ZigZag on the saturday according to the thread on SeLoc, might meet up with them for that as well.

Hiya, hope you don't mind the cross posting from Seloc
Apologies for the delay, it's been a busy week one way & another, plus liaising with Dan over the last few nights to put together what we hope will make for a good weekend.
Any feed back would be welcome (does'nt mean we will take any notice)
Saturday 12th April
1 - 09.00 Meet at Boreham
2 - 09.30 Depart
3 - 09.45 Arrive Thurrock services
4 - 10.00 Depart Thurrock
5 - 10.40 Arrive South Mimms services for breakfast.
6 - 11.40 Depart South Mimms
7 - 13.30 Arrive at Ringwood town centre car park. Meet local Lotus boy's & girls.
8 - 14.15 Out on Run taking in - Stone Henge, Zig Zag hill.
9 - 17.00 Check in at Travel Lodge.
10 - 19.00 Taxi's to Bournemouth
11 - Drinks & meal. Restaurant details -

12 - What ever!
Sunday - 13th April
1 - Run down to Poole for breakfast at Sandbanks. The aim is to get there before 10am. From here we are ideally located to get the chain ferry across to Studland beach and take a short drive to the picture postcard seaside town of swanage. Here we can wander round and buy some fresh shell fish to take home. Nice fishy smelling Lotus
We can either ferry back or drive the long route around Poole harbour (the second largest natural harbour in the world after Sydney (That's the educational part for you) and back to Ringwood for the drive home.
2 - Possible pub lunch en route home.
Hope it makes some sort of sense.
Cheers
John

Feck me you haven,t been listening have you, you don't want to go over on the poxy chain ferry when you can do the burger run route to Swanage.
No sign of Gooby, Just1, Speedyellow, Lotustuart, Twinpipe, Village Idiot, guess they all must be dead.
If J.R.Channon is going to be there, it would be fitting for the BoLOCs to turn out in flat caps.
Mr Channon was insrumental in getting the first round the harbour joint SELOC PH run set up. He lost his flat cap near Corfe Castle and some of us ran over it.

How about a nice run out Sunday morning ENDING UP at Sandbanks for 10am?
Sorry but I'm not very good at the "Hey guys look at my machinery" sort of Lord Flasheart thing 'cos my car ain't that flash.... but if I could find a nice run out or hoon around Swanage or something and then stop for Breakfast at Sandbanks then that would be more my thing. I appreciate that the Essex lot may be too hung over.....
Not ever having been on a Burger run I only know the conventional routes to Swanage via the long route (or chain ferry via Corfe)
Anyone willing to advise a more interesting route or another one where Sandbanks could be swung round??
