Looking to replace the wipers on the Cerb, and wondered if anyone had managed to track down upgraded replacements like the PIAA ones?

I went for the Leven ones - Well worth it. There's also some on Ebay that look identical, but at a cheaper price.

I upgraded to Leven ones and they are a vast improvement on the 'stab a hole in a plastic tube' originals, although imo they're on the North side of expensive for what they are.

I recently bought a pair of these

I have to say I am very pleased with them. They are the first wipers I have had that actually clear both sides of the screen - after several different sets of blades that left great streaks.

I have PIAA ones, on the two occassions the car has been used in the rain they have been great as the layer of silicone they put on the windscreen means much better visability and you dont have to use the wipers as much.

I also have these wipers on my other cars and would not be without them.

Don't the Leven ones just replace the washer tubes with a spray, or are there other benefits?

Do you have a part reference? I liked the sound of these, but couldn't see the appropriate fittings.

THe Levens ones do replace the Tube thingy with a spray. but the passenger side wiper arm is also shaped differently so fits the curvature of the screen better.

Leven ones here too. Far superior wipe to the originals. They also sit lower on the screen on the passengers side giving a better view from the screen. However the lump that does the spray has come away from one of my wipers - they're only a year and a half old. Held on by a cable tie at the mo - need to glue it.

When you buy PIAA wipers you dont give a vehicle make or model you have to measure the wipers you have in inches and then order the corresponding length wipers.

My 'lump' on the offside arm lasted about 3 weeks after the initial fitting. I've glued it back on 3 or 4 times since and it came away again only last week. I've given up and it is currently somewhere in the car as I threw it through the passenger window in a fit of pique. The rubber tube is now just jammed into the arm pointing towards the screen.

No worries,

I found I had to bend the passenger side wiper to give it more of a curve due to the extreme curvature of the side of the windscreen.

My original 'lumpy thing' broke off when I first fitted it! I superglued it back on nd it's lasted over year so far.

My lumpy bit broke off the fleabay version, but after a bit of superglue, job done.

Tend to use alot more water, which is a good thing as i now have a clearer screen, but have to top up more frequently. Can't have it all...

(Gona have to go in my garage in the morn to check the name!) A friend reccomended this product as he uses it on his speed boat screen. Help Im being dumb!

Its proabably a rain-x additive, it has a similar effect to silicone wipers like the PIAA ones.

I have these, although the lumpy bit looks a tad cheap and super glued on, they do fit the screen and leave no smears - a vast improvement of the orginals and neater.

Yep thats the stuff, it works really well but you do have to re-apply it quite often.

got the E-bay wipers and removed the spray lump, then glued it to some aero-wiper blades.

much neater IMHO
