S4 fuel economy when towing

Does anyone have a 1998 or 1999 S4 and tow with it.

If so, how is your mpg?

I am aware that the 'normal' fuel economy is not that good, I just wondered how much worse it could become (it is a hot contender as a new tow car for the house).

I have a '99 S4 avant, towbar is in the garage (not fitted yet) so i'm of no use to you at all i'm afraid. However, without the towbar i get 25/26 ish on the motorway, 23 ish round town.
I'm expecting 20/21 when towing worst case scenario.

My other half gets 12-15mpg towing from the Mondeo.....he must have a lead right foot.
