Brake upgrade with diff' wheels

Hello blokes,
I know the Ford RS 17" 7 spoke wheels have caught on a bit here and wondered if anyone has upgraded their brakes with them? They don't seem to have the same clearance behind the spokes. I have some AP racing callipers from a Cerbera but it's a bit of a game to get them to fit [with bigger discs obviously] Just wondered if anyone has tried anything else.
