I've nipped the clutch pipe when putting the gearbox back in yikes

I now need to change the pipe.

I've got a 1993 4.0. What size is the copper pipe and what fittings do I need to connect into the bulk head by the clutch master and into the clutch slave cylinder?

I've asked around but with no luck

John, the best I can suggest is that you remove the existing pipe and take it to a motor factors or hydraulics specialist. They'll hopefully be able to cut a piece of appropriate piping to length, fit a couple of ends and then crimp it up for you. The old one can then also be used as a pattern to re-shape the new piece. PS. Don't forget to plug the holes temporarily to stop any dirt getting in there. HTH

Blinkin eck! I would have thought the local hydpipe guys could do a gold plated one for that much, or am I expecting too much?

The trouble is getting the copper pipe out. I was thinking of cutting the pipe and adding in a new section.

Talked to Power and apparently it's some obsure thread pattern.

mail the ends of the pipe complete with fittings to rally design and get them to make up a braided section with matching fittings/bore - i have one of their braided sections from clutch M/C to bulkhead. Or just take the nipped pipe to a local hydraulic pipe supplier and get them to make up a cupro nickel bit to match, reusing the exisiting fittings if necessary.
