I remember a brief conversation at the pre-Christmas Shrops / Staffs meet with RichAir concerning a possible run-out on the more twisty and pastoral roads of Salop. The consensus (quite rightly) was to wait until warmer weather and drier roads made the idea more agreeable!

Anyway.

April is just a week away, the roads are becoming increasingly drier, the nights - as of Sunday - are getting lighter, and the lanes are getting leafier. Maybe time to start organising a Shropshire Run!

A few things:

1. Is anyone up for this
2. If so, can we post up a "yes" or "no"
3. A route is needed which includes stop offs for lunch etc
4. RichAir, can you PM your Shropshire route to those that are interested
5. Failing (4) I can come up with a proposed route
6. Can we agree on a date

Cheers,

sm

I'd prefer later in April or May ( and a dry day as well if you can fix that wink )

Hey all!

Yeah deffinately still up for this and I do have a few fun routes to mind. However, my (propper) car is off the road at the mo and will be until early May. Once she's back up and running though, will be well up for a hoon!

Hokay.

So, weather permitting, are we alright with early May?

If so, presumably either a Saturday or Sunday would be preferable?

I'd prefer a Sunday myself, but could do a Saturday

I don't mind either day as long as there is some advance notice ( preferably at least a week )

Sounds like a plan.

If other PH'ers who are interested in the run-out can't make the next Last Inn meet, can I table the first Sunday in May as a confirmed date?

Are we ok with that?
