What do you think? This movie was announced a few months ago and dominated opnions and media hugely . . .

Last night it became public on internet, for everyone to see.

This is the work of a one-man party - ex-liberal - who is in our government. His main objective is the keep down islam in our country.

Please tell me your thoughts.

edit to add, muslims need to stand up and make more noise about other muslims ruining their religion.

until they do more of that, more people will see it as they dont give a damn.

One of the disconnects(or dis similarities of) between Islam and the west, is that they(Islamic types) typically dont speak negatively of other Muslims, when in the company of non Muslims...something about not speaking against the brotherhood...I think they call the brotherhood the "Uma" or something like that...
Muslims usually dont speak poorly of one another outside of claiming someone is a bit to close to the Israelis, Americans or is too western...Its a bit of the 12th century for you today

As the Netherlands is (still) a democracy, Geert Wildres can post, proclaim and say whatever he wants.

In effect, what he pertains to is that Western governments are too tolerant of the intolerant- namely muslim activists who wish to change (their adopted) west to their 7th century, pig ignorant misoganist, homophobic, murdering, vote rigging ideal. In a recent interview he (quite rightly) singled out the UK as the main western state that does nothing to counter this. 'Londonistan' is a word mentioned many times on here before..

I applaud his verve.. as opposed to the lefty handwringers who seem to accept and welcome this kind of backward facism. Livingstone and Galloway are perfect examples...

I really cannot imagine an anti-christian diatribe being pulled due to serious threats to the host of said diatribe.
It shows the mentality of the people offended. No such thing as turn the other cheek there then.

Because it is a diatribe, you tend to go for the juicy bits that back up your own arguments in one.

I think that's a bit of a sweeping statement and almost certainly a long way from the truth.

It's by far a minority who are trouble makers, much like any other section of society. The vast majority of Muslims are law abiding good people who have real values and care for their community.

I've lived in Jordan, Saudi and Iran and have a broad experience of their culture which has a lot going for it
