Hi guys

I have previously (caterham on track) used an intercom system for communicating between driver and passenger.

I would like to buy one for on road communication on longer trips but all the current systems seem to require a helmet to hold the earpiece unlike the ones I used previously that slipped over the ear and could be used alone or with helmets.

Does anyone know if these are still made or even better have one that is surplus to requirements?

Cheers

Richard

If we're in the MK1 'scort on the road we use OMP "Practice" headsets which look like a set of ear defenders. You look right pillock, but as it's a MK1 rally car they don't look a miss. Gearbox whine from the Quaife straight cut box makes communication above walking speed practically impossible.

These OMP head set things block most of it out instantly.
