CANCELED..The All Australian Ute Party,
Discussion
Own a ute? Want a ute? Just think they are cool? Then you need to be at the All Australian Ute Party!
Open to all, the event will take place from 12:00 on the 3rd May at The Crooked Billet, Kingswood, Nr Aylesbury, HP18 8QJ. This is located on the main A41 between Bicester and Aylesbury, approx 8 miles from the M40, Junc 9.
There will be a dedicated Ute parking area (both Holden and Ford) as well as good food and drink.
Details of the venue can be found here, www.eyho.co.uk
Although not critical, an approx idea of the numbers involved would be useful. If you think you may come, please add your name to the list.
Look forward to seeing some of you there.

You ruined your chances of getting a good turn out by putting 'Australian' in the title.
Thats entirely appropriate since the 'UTE' is an Australian invention (not like the 'pickups' that other countries produce. There can't be more than a couple of dozen genuine 'Utes' (Holden, HSV or Phraud) in the UK.
The Ranchero most certainly is a true 'ute'. It was a utility version of the Ford torino and shared a similar relationship with the Torino that the Clubsport/Maloo share.

Don't forget the 'El Camino' too!

I think the "Open to all" is a give away it is good to have a theam, bring the Skoda along by all means would be a good comparison between european and Aus/NZ style cars. As it is open to all I think I will bring the old HSV along.
