Drove from Worcester to Elan Valley on Thursday and then took the montain road to Aberystwyth for fish and chips by the sea the weather was great and so are the roads and scenery. Has anyone else done this trip?
Yes, great roads, have a look in EVO and CAR mag this month as well Came home from Cardiff today and decided to take the scenic route A470, Elan Valley (sunshine), Cymystwyh (light rain), Ponterwyd (snow), Capel Bangor (hail), Penrhyncoch (rain).
Gotta love that local weather Fantastic drive though. Thoroughly enjoyed swinging the arse around those hairpins. There was a group of 3 Evos enjoying the road too, but they stopped at the visitor centre carpark.

heading towards Rhyader from devils bridge take a right. there are some hairpins. continue on this road. it is the first dam. if your coming from the south take a left instead of carying on through the town at the cross junction. errrm if that didnt help here is a map road is outlined in red. dam is the orange blob. cheers
Went from Worcestershire to the Elan Valley on Tuesday, then headed to Aberystwyth around Snowdonia and then the EVO Triangle. The mountain road out of the valley to Devils Bridge is absolutly amazing, better than the triangle? Maybe?! Saw only one car on the mountain pass coming the other way and the whole time were were in the valley all we saw were Severn Trent Defenders, a brilliant place, shame it was a bit wet. A great drive though
Excuse the reflection lol

Further along the Aberystwyth Mountain road there is some really interesting old industrial architecture.
