I intend keeping mine for a long time, so I'll definitely consider a rebuild when it needs it.

For a persistent problem i wouldn't get and engine rebuild as it proberly wouldn't fix the problem. As for the high milage there aren't many super cars with high milage so to speak. If i did own a super car and it happened to require a rebuild i would go to a dealer.

There won't be many rebuilds required so is this abit of business on the side? you proberly couldn't run a business on just rebuiulds. You will have to get a good rfeputation aswell as you can guess people are very fussy about there cars when they have spent 60,000+ on them

i was thinking more, perhaps maserati 3200gt for example. they suffer with end float problems which is costly however essential to put correct. I have alot of experience with this engine and many other italian engines. and have done many rebuilds. ferrari 355 also. They rely on good compression for there performance, and likewise i have alot of experience with this engine. Its just an idea at the moment, perhaps on the side? just wanted to put the feelers out! anyone who has had this type of problem i would love to hear from you. anyway thanks guys its always good to get a different angle on things.
