Dunno if you've heard but the nice people at Gore-Tex have been developing waterproof leathers.

Now this seems like the holy grail to me - no more flappy textiles or no more having to haul waterproof oversuits about.

Rukka are the first to adopt it. As we know, their gear isn't cheap but I wasn't quite prepared for this price;
