and it's mine

weeping

i cant believe i was that stupid saturday

bike was wet and slipped out of my grasp as i took it off the full stand i put it on for saftey

still only a brake lever down

never dropped the schools bikes once

Sorry to hear that. I know it doesn’t help much but we've all been there. The thing to watch with the FJ1200s when they fall onto the off side is that the brake peddle can sometimes be pushed through the clutch cover! yikes

Well as I was told, your not a proper biker untill you have droped your bike... I passed that test within 48 hours frown ... also just a brake lever...

Were you siting on the bike as you took it off of thre center stand?

Call me paranoid but I always sat on my bikes when taking them off the stand, even the side stand.

I am always afraid they I will loose ballance or the bike will get away from me.

Sadly it has not totally prevented some embarrassing moments.

most of us have done it atleast once.. frown

sorry to hear it mate.. it always bugs you when you do it as its something you always promise you'll never do.. (well i did anyway).

I dropped my bike onto my car.. so was rather grumpy to say the least..

glad its only a leaver tho.

I dropped mine too, at the local bike meet, then cried in front of everyone! redface
A nice chap replaced my brake lever and I finished the ride out biggrin

Oops. The most important thing is that no one see you do it. I got off mine without putting the side stand down at work and it simply fell on the floor... my ninja roll out of the way didn't cut the mustard with my smoker audience.
