Good luck with sourcing the gear from the motor they are like rocking horse brown stuff! If he finds one it would be worth finding out where he got it from and letting us all know.

Well its been sold!! Congrats! biggrin
Are you the guy who called me while I was on holiday at the weekend, sorry if I made the call short, hope you understand biggrin Margueritas, relaxation and sunshine were top of my list at the time.
I've never had a problem with the light pod.
I would stick with the spoiler, adds far more looks to the car, all IMO of course biggrin I spent frikking ages putting it on, If you changed the boots you maybe left with 2 holes where the hillman imp hinges lie.
I never had a problem with the roof, it was all watertight last time I knew. might just need a bit of a treatment, any white bits that u may find on it are fibreglass dust from where I drilled holes in the boot frame, that shake out bit by bit once its driven with the roof in the boot.

Hi Pete,
No worries about the call! you weren't to know!!
I never noticed the fuel consumption! its a 4.6 V8 TVR what were u expecting??!!!
I think there's some type of problem that you can't fill the tank to the top that easily, you have to put the last few litres in bit by bit.
I'll be at BBWF, yeah smile see you then!
Cheers

Quick question - and a complete newbie one at that so I apologise in advance - whats a good operating temp for a wedge - There is a line on the temp gauge just past the 90 - is anywhere under that good ?
Yes. Mine hovers around there and somtimes peaks just over till the fan kicks in.

You get 200 miles to 35 litres?? thats not bad at all!!!

Seriously though, you'll find that if you drive short distances (especially from cold) up to about 3 miles then its probably cheaper in fuel to get a taxi! Long distances are good, going to lemans i probably get about 25 MPG...sometimes!!!smokin

Light lifter wise, i have 2 spare ones which my mums uncle (who previosuly owned blaines gorgeous 400se) gave them to me. Ones promised to Ed Crouch (as of BBWF 2007!!!) although we havent met up yet!! I have another spare but had hoped to keep it in case. If its a problem and you cant get one, i'd be more than happy to help you out with it. thumbup

Keep me posted!
