TPS wiring config/colours
Discussion
The TPS on mine has three wires, a brown (leftmost on the car), green (middle), and blue (on the right). Trying to match to +ve supply (5v), sensor earth, and signal output (respectively red, black and green in Emerald livery)... If brown is the +ve feed (is it?), which is which of the other two (earth to middle seems logical)?
Tried following it from the 14CUX pinouts but came unstuck as mine wasn't earthed (the cable was screened to an intervening plug but no further and one wire was connected to that only, and by following what the schemeatic says otherwise, I've got a TPS that seems to report backwards on screen.
Tried measuring it but couldn't make my mind up what I was measuring

Brown and blue are the ends of the track (fixed resistance), green is the wiper (variable resistance). In the closed position there is negligible resistance between green and blue which rises as the throttle opens. Similarly with the throttle closed there is maximum resistance (approximatley 5600 ohms) between green and brown which falls to negligible resistance as the throttle opens.
Asvise you change the TP ahead of having it set up at Emerald or get it checked with a an oscilloscope. Not cheap mind you to replace, but at the same time it is often an area that causes issues with rolling road session as they wear out.
The reading from the TP is much more critical when you're running without an AFM as it is used to indicate load site.
Really worth getting checked, I just replaced mine as after 60k miles it'll be knackered and I didn't want any time on the rollers wasted fiddling around fitting another one, if indeed they even had one. In fact Fester had an issue with his and they had to make up a 'make do' set up which cost mapping time, and let's be fair, it's not cheap or easy to get on to Emerald's rolling road . .
