Which garage do you use to service your car?

Hi mate,

I am not from York myself but i have travelled down from Teesside to use Autohaus Diagnostics in York just near Shipton or Skipton off the old A19?

I had a Inspection2 done on my M Coupe. To say i am anal about it is a understatement.

Very impressed with their service and knowledge. There premises was spotless, more like an operating theatre than a workshop.

Not the cheapest of indies but well worth the money

Head down to Leeds and use B&M Care (www.bmservicing.com) in Staningley/Pudsey (West Leeds)

Used them for 50k miles, 1/2 main dealer labour, bookable courtesy cars and fantastic service

HIGHLY recommended and 30 mins from York.

And in my experience more expensive than a main dealer.

Must admit i havent checked main dealer prices but would have thought that they were more than £580 for a inspection 2. I guess you learn something new everyday

David, I should have been clearer. My experience was not for a service but for pads and discs for my wifes car. They were approximately 25% more expensive than York BMW.

Not critisising their workmanship as I have never used them.

hey i live near york hull and if you are looking for servies BM TEC in hull is very good and cheap it also offers remaping and other things

Castle or malton Motors, i tend to play one off the other on price and end up with a good deal. normally from malton..
