well had fitted new race can's on the triple today. and a remap during my first service. 500 miles done in just over week is good for me.

they look the same but sound very meaty. "I LIKEY"cloud9

The 1050 triple motor has a reputation for high oil consumption, however I ran mine in (Tiger1050) more or less as per the manual & it's not used a drop in the last 4K miles.

Bike magazines long term test Tiger blew up due to a lack of oil & I doubt they took much care running it in.

You pays yer money.......etc.

scratchchin I'm guessing this had more to do with the lack of oil rather than anything else. Production tolerances are so good on modern engines, running in is almost irrelevant, but makes the need to keep oil levels maintained all the more important....

You keeps yer oil at the right level and all that....

they sound great, and keep with the look of the bike too.

i did laugh, as you revved it and went to the back, it was like you were trying to catch the sound.

very nice, and good choice of color too

nope has the new map when the can's went on. it did it before on the standard cans and I know a few people with speed triples and they do the same
