Vanatage Radio Reception

Just switched an 07 model Vantage Coupe for a new Roadster. On the coupe the FM radio reception was really poor and I had been led to believe that with the new in screen ariel the reception would be fine but trying to listen to R4 going down the M4 is awful. Anybosy else having this problem/got a fix?
