Well guys, The 400 sold quite quickly. No doubt the new owner will make himself known in due course. He seems like an enthusiast so be nice to him!
10 years of wedgedom has been a blast. In all that time (and about 40k miles) the car never once broke down or left me stranded. Everything works just as it did when it left the factory 17 years ago.
Its awaiting collection now ( actually in about 2 weeks) On its last trip out with me I parked it up in Matlock. An old guy watched me park then wandered over with a VERY serious look on his face.
I was thinking I was going to get a lecture on the noise/environment or such like, but all he said was "Now thats what I call a real car"
So guys, keep it wedgey, and keep the beasts alive. maybe I'll return one day. Who knows.
