i know theres a thread on this but can we have views from "owners" on the differences on the two
i think i'm going to buy one at some stage but dont know which ?
are they both road legal !
are they to loud and not practical for road use
do you get more of a v8 roar !
which one gives you the best for pops and bangs

I have the JP so can't comment on the Power exhaust.

JP sounds great! Much louder than standard and great for road use. It is quieter than my standard tuscan was. According to neighbours!!

JP sounds great! Much louder than standard and great for road use. It is quieter than my standard tuscan was. According to neighbours!!

I have the TVR Power ones on mine, well had as I have just put the standard back on for the MOT.
They are both road legal(?) but the MOT people grimaced when I suggested bringing it in with the Power exhaust on. Police have never mentioned it when they have stopped me. On a noise note they will pretty much be a no-no on track days if there is a db limit.
The Power one definitely sounds like a V8 and will pop on over run. Not sure if it just for a change but I actually like the standard one I have just put back on and will keep that.
On this note you are more than welcome to borrow my Power pipes for a month or so to see if you like them. I am in Kingston (Upon Thames) so Herts not a million miles away. I am happy to help you fit them which takes half an hour to an hour.
They were going to go in the classifieds for a few hundred quid, so if you want you can think of it as a try/buy. If they are not for you we can swap the old ones back and I will stick them in the classifieds.

I've had both and they are both excellent. The Power one pops and bangs more so that swung it for me. With the decat it POPS and BANGS!
I have had the POWER ONES ON CAR FOR NEARLY 2 YEARS NOW, FANTASTIC SOUND ETC.
ONE POINT TO BEAR IN MIND IS THAT IF YOU ARE THINKING OF A TRACK DAY, YOU CAN EASILY CLAMP ON A SET OF ACT SILENCERS DUE TO NO LIP ON THE POWER TAILPIPES. I DO NOT KNOW IF THE JP HAS A ROLLED LIP ON THE END OF THE PIPES, AS THIS MAY CAUSE A PROBLEM FOR SLIDE ON AND CLAMP SILENCERS.
YOU WILL NEED TO CHECK IT OUT. I AM SHURE THE LADS WITH JP CAN ASSIST ON THIS MATTER. EITHER WAY THE SOUND IS AWESOME COMPARED TO A STANDARD BOX.
