Basically as my hunt for a chim goes on (though I have a few firm potentials at the minute) I've been offered a Chim which I've yet to see in Ocean Haze Starmist. It's from Phillip Phedonos cars, has tuscan style headlight conversion and afterburner style rear lights.

I mentioned this on my other thread and T-pot from here was kind enough to send me a few pictures of his, and I'm quite intrigued by it.

Basically I'm just wondering if any others would be so kind as to pop pictures up of Chims in this colour as I've never actually seen one in the tin, just so I can get an idea of what to expect whilst I wait for the bloke to send me some pictures of it.

Cheers,
Stu

It's actually a Porsche colour paperbag

Mine isn't Ocean Haze it's a few shades darker and is from the VW stable but it'll give you an idea...

We used to have a 4.0HC in about 1996 with OZ multispokes that was ocen haze starmist. I hate to admit that it looked great with 2 tone grey interior but it ran like a dog and after 12 months we "sold" it back to the dealer. Wonder if its the same one?
Now got an ocean haze Griff.

If the Porsche colour isn't the same it's very close. I've seen a few around and reckon it is but the name is defo Ocean haze starmist so maybe it is slightly different.

LoL no offence of any sort intended to anyone who owns a car in said colour biggrin

It's quite a controversial one, part of me really likes it having sat and stared at it for a little while, but it's something I'm still not sure on.

Well, what a small world!

I bought that very car from Phillip Phedonos cars this week, and if you see the car in the flesh it really is a head turner, but then again so is any Chim. biggrin

It's not a 100% right, already done a fair bit of work on it the last few days as it has totally cut out on me twice, but that's probably more down to needing new plugs, leads, dizzycap and arm, coil...

Anyway, I enjoy playing with motors and already own a fair few other cars, so this is just a toy.

On the whole, I am really chuffed with it, not my usual colour, but as already said, have a look at it in the flesh.;)

Here is a piccy:

Dunno if it is the same one as mine?

My one is a 1994 M-reg, started life in Cardiff and then Gloucester, only two previous owners. cool

Must be a different one. The reg was M4 OMP. Team Central sold it to us and had it back and then it was apparently sold to someone in Northampton and we were told the problem s had ben sold but we contacted the chap and he only had it 3 months as it was a lemon.
