E46 3.0 coupe best grade oil

I am going to carry out an oil change myself on my recently purchased car, it's a 2002 3.0 petrol coupe (clubsport). Rang my dealer and got oil filter and was advised that the only grade oil to use is castrol 0/30 f/synthetic made exclusively for BMW. Would I like some? no thanks I have various oil of my own at home..
Would I be advised to use Castrol edge 10/60 f/synthetic or Castrol edge 0/30 f/synthetic bearing in mind that the car has done 76,000 miles.

Not sure about the weight you have chosen but Castrol edge will be just as expensive, probably more so than anything else you could choose.

If the dealers recommend 0W 30 and you want to take the plunge with Castrol then yes it will be fine.
