Can't select gear when engine running

Just got Tuscan 3 weeks ago, Can't select gear when engine is running.Has been running fine before.
Looking back at service history clutch slave seals done @ 16700 miles now it's 20700 miles.Clutch pedal feel's normal.

Sounds like the clutch or cylinder could have gone or the clutch plate fingers may have broken.

Does the gear stick just not move from neutral?
Have you checked the brake/clutch fluid levels?
Do you get any resistance from the clutch when you press it in?
Did it just suddenly stop working or did gear changes start feeling any different?

It doe move but don't go into gear when engine running.
It seem about right to me, Just below the neck 60mm.
There are no leaks under the clutch/bellhouse.
The resistance feels normal.I was driving then arrived back it did seem a bit stiff in the gearchange.

If the slave cylinder is ok (which it probably is if full of fluid) it's more than likely that the fingers on the clutch assembly have broken off. That's why when the engine is running the clutch plate can't sync with the flywheel.

Anyone else got any ideas?

On my previous Tuscan the exact same thing happened. Turned out to be a faulty clutch slave cylinder.

I guess I better also replace the clutch while they have got it apart.

Anyone know which plates to go for? ie. Aftermarket Tvr Powers's own special ones with 2yr warranty or standard tvr AP type.

I will be getting it done from TVRPOWER in Coventry.
