Your profile says Portsmouth is home. That's a long commute!

I've got a Impulse Blue 54 plate CV8 in Newcastle (Gosforth) and I'm always around the city centre.

Never seen another 'Ro up here. Ever!

I am in Whickham and work at Silverlink.
Use to commute every weekend from Portsmouth. Now I don't, thank god.. (Have changed it now)..

That's crazy! I'm regularly parked up at Silverlink in the 'Ro. Usually next to halfords!!! LOL

I've never seen a Commodore either

Yeah definately up for a meet if you are about. Love to see what you've had done - maybe tempt me to Mod mine!

Have you seen a 1971 Torino either? That normally gets me spotted more than the 'Ro.

Theres a black 6.0 that used to (not sure if it still does...) park in Jesmond. Looked fecking lush! Used to see a silver 5.7 around Jesmond quite often too.

I'll keep an eye out for you raggyman when I'm up in Wickham as I'm often up there at weekends smile

Yeah there's a black VXR8 that's always around chinatown too.

I don't usually go to the Yank meets. May pop in once every couple of months. TBH I don't really bother too much with anything except enjoying driving!

Now how the heck do you send a PM.....rolleyes

Are you a Chinese guy?
The black VXR8 I saw was driving past Fujiyama (where I was parked outside in the Monaro) and the driver knew/waved to my mate Dave (who runs the restaurant).
Have I got the right person?

LOL...yeah it is! I was outside chatting to a few of the guys from Edmunds martial arts school. I saw your motor coming over from the cobbled bit and started nudging the lads saying "look a VXR8"....to which I got some blank looks!

Nice motor anyway mate. No doubt see you around that neck of the woods again!

Yeah I didn't notice the drivers door coz it was on the opposite side from fuji!
Still looked mean though. I like black especially on the R8!

I'm pretty good mates with Dave and Yvonne. Me and Dave organise the chinese parties at digital. If you speak to him my name is Jay Rockwell (I know username is pretty close...LOL!). He should tell you I'm a top bloke and he'll receive his monthly cheque.

Thanks Jez. One day I'm gonna take her down to Santa Pod and run her stone stock against everything else. That'll be interesting. The Monaro is my daily so I guess the Torino is my "something for the weekend"!

Either way I love blasting about in a huge engine, high HP RWD 2-door!

there's a black one regularly parks near monument metro station, and I've seen a silver one floating around gateshead a few times. Definately rare up here though, was considering one myself but can't resist a TVR smile

So who is keen for a BBQ one weekend soon? Got a reasonable sized driveway. Will check with the Mrs's diary and will set a date.
