Dear Esprit lovers,

PUK Esprit Racing is delighted to announce the launch of the Lotus Lottery !
After some time debating whether we should offer an Exige or a late V8, and seeing that we
couldn't find a way to make
our mind (poll didn't help), we decided to
offer both ! That is, winner can chose !

Please visit our site to read all about it, you can now get your tickets !!!

Best regards,

The PUK Team

> I wish I could win a Lotus

What do you mean ?? Of course you can win one, just buy tickets !

> If I won a V8 I would sell it and buy an SE or S4(s

Yes of course, you can always sell it to buy the model of your dreams ! Perfect for "G" people. I mean for V8 money you can easily buy the old Esprit of your dreams, regardless of condition/state, then restore it to the highest standard. So indeed, the lottery is perfect for all Esprit owners, not just V8 lovers !
So everyone should buy tickets !!
As far as I am concerned, if I won (of course I can't!), I would buy my '89 BRG/sand SE baby and keep the rest of the money for mods and maintenance/repair !

Vince

Dear all,

The first 2 tickets for the Lottery have already been sold ! So if you want a chance to win a free Lotus better hurry up !
Tickets will be available until X-mas, but at this pace it won't take this long to sell them all, so get your act together soon !

How much is 180 € in USD?

If I won (yeah right), wouldnt they be right hand drive. How would that work? Or does it matter on where you live?

Secondly, who would pick the Exige if they won! LOL Anyone would be smart enough to take the V8 and sell it for profit and then buy an Exige if you wanted to.

Hi Lotusacbc,

> How much is 180 € in USD?

Well, you will find a currency converter on our site, just go to the "Order - Contact" page.
But Euros roughly equal to US Dollars. Well, today the USD happens to be pretty weak, 180 Euros cost 204 USD, but just wait for the USD to get stronger so it's cheaper for you...simple...

> If I won (yeah right), wouldnt they be right hand drive. How would that work? Or does it matter on where you live?

As you will see explained on the site, winner can chose either RHD or LHD. Also, PUK being based in Germany, the car would be more likely to be LHD anyway. But you can chose no problem.
Don't know about the details, but Marcus sure will put his hand up and explain...
In the worse case, I suppose we could offer the corresponding cash, so that people can buy what they want wherever they live, would solve all problems....
But it's for Marcus to say...

Yes, I hope everyone can see that the lottery is of interest regardless of the model they fancy, as they just need to sell the prize to buy what they want. So, everyone should buy tickets, come on boys !!

Hello Lotusacbc,

> I think ill buy 2 tickets before weeks end.

Thanks, and good luck with the Lottery, anyone can win !

> But I can just see my raffle ticket at the bottom 848 other tickets

Not sure what you mean ?! My crappy/approximate english you know...

BTW, Marcus got back to me regarding US winners "issues". It is not possible to offer cash instead of the car, however, PUK will handle all paper work /admin stuff, and deliver the car to the US, so no worries to get your car, she will come to you !

I will post about this on the US Esprit list, to make sure everyone there knows about this. I shall also clarify this point on the site as well I guess.

I was being a bit pessimistic, I just meant that my lousy two tickets will be meddling at the bottom of 848 other tickets. In other words, slim chance. But a chance nontheless.

Thats fine, it would be cool to have an Esprit V8 delivered to my house. I would record every second of it with my video camera. As a hot V8 rolled out the rear of a truck and into my driveway! I would be VERY tempted to drive it, but then reselling it would probably mean a huge loss in value. but hey, even 70 grand will be buy me any SE, S4 or S4s I want and have money left over!

I just read this:

"If not all 850 tickets find a home, people will be offered a voucher * worth ticket price, PLUS 10%, that's 99 Euros worth of PUK products!"

That wouldnt help me as I dont have an Esprit, or any Lotus. So I would be losing over $200 bucks. Hmm, I suppose I can use the voucher and buy a Lotus part and sell it on Ebay.

Hi Lotusacbc,

Well yes, it's like any lottery, except it's better here because you don't really lose your money like in conventional Lotteries, since you can get parts worth more than you paid for the ticket !!
