jump a lot, shoot a lot, frag a lot...

at some point you may want to start identifying enemies and aiming and stuff... but dont worry about that for a while.

There's not much else to it to be honest. What were you expecting?

Complete the single player game first, here you will be drip-fed weapons and vehicles to practice in. Once you get familar with that then head online and prepare to shout at your telly a lot and be verbally abused by 13 year old americans.

Well sort it out woman. You stand a much better chance of learning next to pro biggrin

Add me MK4Slowride (no space) when you do. E-bay you can get 12 months credit for circa £25.

Slightly confused here. You ask about Halo 3 skills but don't even have a box yet? If they're lending you a box then they should already have an existing GT & credit unless they're super stingy and have ran it out or left it in the loft for ages.

Yo do require Xbox live Gold credit to go on-line. This can be purchased in all manner of quantities. Having said that if you create a new login you get 1 month free anyway.

There are loads of tips out there, and you'll find lots of contradictory ones. Thing to do is play and learn what works best, but with a knowledge of some of the strengths and weaknesses of certain approaches/weapons and also the different approaches needed on different maps and against different opponents.

Because it is difficult to distill it down into three steps bto being excellent shows how relatively rich it is for play - you can use so many different strategies, no one is right or wrong, there will just be some that are more effective at any given time.
