MV Agusta F4 1078 CC - 200BHP
Thats had some serious engine works for sure .MV Agusta F4 1078 CC - 200BHP
Be interested in some more info on it .

Price difference between stock and the CC is about 25K though - it is, to be fair, quite a limited edition.

Be very interested to see what it really makes at the wheel on an indepndent dyno .
190 surely must be a figment of somebodys marketing imagination or dream.
What rpm is 190bhp made at? - if it were 12k that would suggest 83lbft of torque, which is a good peak torque for a 1L bike, never mind torque at peak power. Extra capacity would only add a few lbft, so I'm with 'mav on this one, it sounds high - you're in race motor territory there! 190 surely must be a figment of somebodys marketing imagination or dream.

Got my TZR250 race bike booked in for the dyno tomorrow. I only bought the bike a week before my first race at Donny, so didn't have any opportunity to do any groundwork.
Based on how some of the bikes sped past me, I need to do a fair bit to the engine. I'm guessing it will register a paltry 45-50bhp. A bit different from my 150bhp track R1!!!

Binterested to see the dyno sheet of a race 250 Based on how some of the bikes sped past me, I need to do a fair bit to the engine. I'm guessing it will register a paltry 45-50bhp. A bit different from my 150bhp track R1!!!
.That paltry 45 -50 bhp will sound very good as it rides round the outside of most of us

As for riding round the outside of you, not with my fat arse on it!
Well, dyno testing was interesting on Saturday.
First run as raced at Donnington produced 41hp. It did have a slipping clutch which pee'd me off big time coming out of the old hairpin. After changing all the plates, the second run showed 43.5, and yes the .5 is important.
We changed the pipes for aftermarket and gained another 1.5hp, which in its self isn't much, but the smoothness of the curve would make a hell of a lot of difference on the track.
To put things in perspective, a bike from the same series was tested after mine and was knocking out 56hp. The same bike that will probably lap me at Snetterton this weekend!!
Back to the drawing board (or Bob Farnham's)

I did notice that the filter could do with being replaced. As for gas analysis, I had curry the night before if that helps.

I meant what was the mixture like - too lean, overly rich? Both of these will reduce the power you make.
