Are bleed nipples 7/16 unf ?

Would anybody know what thread brake bleed nipples normally are, I was hoping for 7/16 unf to use one on a differnt application.

I'm pretty sure that classics have imperial threaded bleed nipples but they may be BSP thread? the best bet is to chat up a local garage and see if they have any old stock, or try a trade motorfactor, you may have to buy them in packs though. Modern stuff is metric.

take a look on ebay there is a company who recons calipers called 'big red ltd' they were very helpful and seem to carry most parts in stock and no i am not connected in anyway just a happy customer
