PH moderation issues - once more - the goth girls thread.

I'm really not surprised that people are leaving here in droves.
to you new terms.
to all the retractions of the posting rules that are being debated.
to my questioning of why anonymous-mod can close threads with impunity.
to the lot of it.
It's midnight, there's been a ton of debate on this site today, and just for a minute we might want to have a bit of fun and post up some perfectly safe for work pics of girls - who happen to be goths.
FOR, there is a thread in the motorsport forum all about pit babes.
It's run so long it's now in volume two.
Please explain to me how that is acceptable and the thread on goth girls was not?
Seriously, I'm trying my hardest to remain calm on this one, in fact if you check my post, I didn't even write any swear words - I just inserted colon-censored-colon.
Still, I'm fuming mad.
The mods here need to be accountable to their actions, and I've already suggested this in the debate that is running in Web Site Feedback forum.
I would like a sensible response to the posting that closed the goth-girls thread which said
"Jeez, how desperate do you have to be?" - well I for one struggle to understand how you can run a thread that is entitelled "It's cat a day - post pictures of your cats. Hell, I hate cats, but it seems ok to post pictures of fluffy pussies, but not nice looking ladies, which again contrasts to the thread running in the motorsport forum that is pages and pages of lasses.
This mod behaviour has got to stop and I would politely request that the goth-girl thread is reopened. Personally I would rather hang-out and look at goth girls all day compared to some of the pictures posted into that pit-babes thread.
I might be a minority, but I claim my nu-labia right to be accomodated.
Double standards going left right and centre in this place at the moment.
Bad move whover closed that thread, bad move.
I wonder, do mods have a sin bin that is just for mods? Now there's a though... you know... moderate like that again and you're in the bin... two more strikes and not only are you not a moderator any more, you're outta her.
As a final point, if the mod that closed the goth-girl thread would like to contact me directly, I would dearly love to take up the debate - (hoping it wasn't Ted
) but still, I think there is a valid point here, and I'll assure privacy in any conversation we might have.
