TD, I know how you feel. Taxed ours on the 1st and we did 130 miles that afternoon/evening. Can't keep that ratio up though, there's only 2870 miles left of the 3000 limit. Hopefully, we'll be out again this afternoon/evening as well biggrin

Could always increase that limit if it is a really nice summer though...

It's days like this that make the fairly short wait for getting my Chimaera that little bit harder to take cry

Oh yes, of course yes. Let's hope we (all of us) have a Summer that requires just that cool.

I remember not long after we first had it (the car rolleyes), and being keen and new to convertibles, we decided to take a nice little drive up to mid-Wales (with the hood off-of course). Anyway, it was quite hot that day, and I didn't realise how hot, because as soon as we had got there (a couple of hours later) I started feeling a bit unwell headache . We ended up putting the hood on and spending the afternoon recovering, before driving back.

Moral of this story, just remember, if when we have some sunny weather this year to take it easy and not overdo the exposure (to the Sun) nono

Stu, it's easy for me to say, I know, but, when you've got yours it will make that wait worth it.

You guys who are just bringing your cars out now have missed a trick! Mine's a daily driver and I've had the roof off a few times over the past few months - awesome on a crisp sunny winter's morning! biggrin

Took mine out to work on Wednesday - a number of appointments in Wiltshire. Turned wet as I left (with the roof down) then got foggy & had the put the lights on. Then it got better and the wafe say "you're really red!!" when I got home. Cannot wait for the summer.

Aye. 2-3 weeks all being well. And you can gaurantee that it will be p1ssing it down the day that I collect her, (are TVRs "hers" or "hims"?).

The only spanner in the works is going to be if I have a slipped bore liner that is causing the overheating issues. Starting to get a bit concerned about that TBH, as I can't think of much else it can be? Fingers crossed its just a blockage in the block somewhere, but knowing my luck........
May be nothing more than a loose impellor on the waterpump(not spinning, stalling at speed)its not always so sinisterwink
