I am sure this thread has been done a million time, but have just bought some secondhand Kahn RSR alloys for my Chimaera ( Purplemonster) and need some locking wheel nuts.

Can anyone advise which are good, or which thread this has been asked on b4.

Thanx Mark

Think i Have MacGuard on mine. On recommendation of felow Owners.
The Shalfords ones that have the key that looks like a Chess piece castle are crap IMO. Had them on my S and they Key was of such a soft metal it rounded of the edges and i had to use other methods to get the nuts off in the end.

Mark,

do a quick search of this forum. I posted a link earlier this week to a site that I bought a set from. They come with a proper metal key and a free-rotating rim (oh err) to stop someone trying to force them off. Bargain at around 20-25 quid. A lot cheaper than 4 new wheels.

Mine has Ford ones on... don't know if they're any good though, I've not needed to take them off myself yet - but it has been serviced recently, so they do work!!

Would the ones from Wedge Automotive fit? More for the wheels than the hub.

Thanx guys, I have found the code for the Ford ones and my local dealer had them in stock!!! They were £23.

Picked my Purplemonster up from Jason Webbs Friday, just in time to get it to Mania at Bruntingthorpe. Had full lite conversion done (S12) fornt and rear and respray....and I know I'm biased, but I think it looks the nutz. Will try and get a pic on here....am away in hospital tomorrow for a couple of weeks, but will sort it when I am out.

Cheers Mark
